Photohispana Group was created in 2005 by veteran photographer Maria Elena Esquivel, owner of Photohispana Studio & School which has been based in the heart of the Nations Capital since 1990.  A small group of her photography students wanted to practice with real models in a real studio and soon, she included a few professionals. The group grew so fast that now, two years later, the group has 22 members from the Washington, DC area.

 

The group's goal is to have a fun day together, meet new people and share our art under a very relaxed, easy going and artistic environment.  We enjoy having more practice and experience as well as new photos for our portfolios.
